Consent to Privacy Policy

"VICTEX Co., Ltd." has the following policy to protect users' personal information and rights and interests in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and smoothly handle users' complaints related to personal information. Customer information is a valuable personal asset and at the same time important data for the company. Therefore, the company promises to do its best to protect customers' personal information in all of its business. If the company revises the privacy policy, it will be announced on the website.

Chapter 1. Consent procedures for collecting personal information
The company has prepared a procedure in which you are supposed to click the (I agree) button or (I disagree) button for the contents of the website's privacy policy or terms and conditions. If you click the (I agree) button, you are presumed to agree to the collection of personal information.

Chapter 2. Purpose of collecting and using personal information
The company uses personal information for the following purposes. The collected personal information will not be used for purposes other than the following, and the company will seek prior consent when there is a change in the purpose of use.

A. Name, ID, password: To confirm membership registration, prevent illegal use of service, check access frequency and authenticate the user for service use
B. E-mail address, phone number (to check receipt): To secure a smooth communication path for sending notices, checking user’s intention, and handling of complaints, provide event and advertising information and opportunities to participate, and check access frequency or use statistics
C. Address, phone number: To secure the correct address for delivering prizes and items

Chapter 3. Sending advertisement information  
A. The company does not send advertising information for commercial purposes against your explicit intention to refuse to receive it.
B. The company will send you information regarding changes in terms and conditions, changes in the use of other services, new services/new products or events, by e-mail, text message via mobile phone, or other electronic media. In this case, the relevant laws and regulations shall be observed.
C. When the company sends advertising information by e-mail for online marketing, such as product information, the company make sure that it is easily recognizable in the subject line and body of the e-mail.

Chapter 4. Scope of collecting personal information
The company has free access to most contents without a separate membership registration process. If you want to use the membership service, you must enter the following information.
A. Personal information to collect: name, e-mail, date of birth, ID, password, gender, address, mobile phone number (telephone), e-mail reception, SMS reception, service use record, access log, receiving customer information (name, phone number), address, email)
B. Method of collecting personal information: Membership registration and bulletin board on the website, etc.

Chapter 5. Retention and use period of personal information
After the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved, the company destroys the information without delay.
However, the following information is retained for the specified period for the following reasons.
- Items to be retained: name, login ID, password, email, date of birth
- Reason for retention: To prevent recurrence of fraudulent use by bad members
- Retention period: 1 month

And if retention is necessary in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations, the company will keep the member information as follows for a certain period of time as set forth in the relevant laws and regulations.
Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

Chapter 6. Procedure and method of destroying personal information
In principle, the company destroys the personal information without delay when the purpose of processing personal information is achieved. The procedure, expiry and method of destruction are as follows.

- Destruction procedure
The information entered by the member for membership registration, etc. is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved (separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) and stored for a certain period of time according to internal policies and reasons for information protection in accordance with other relevant laws (see retention and use period) before it is destroyed. Personal information transferred to the separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than retention unless otherwise required by law.

-Destruction expiry
Personal information will be destroyed within 5 days from the end of the retention period, if the retention period of the user information has expired, and within 5 days when the personal information deems unnecessary due to the achievement of the purpose of processing personal information, abolition of the service, or termination of the business, etc.

-Destruction method
Information in the form of electronic files, it will be destroyed using a technical method that makes impossible to reproduce it.

Chapter 7. Measures to secure the safety of personal information
The company takes the following measures to ensure safety in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

A. Minimizing the number of staff handling personal information and training them
The company designates employees who handle personal information and allows only them to handle personal information.

B. Encryption of Personal Information
The user information is stored and managed with password encryption, so only the user can know it, and for important data, separate security features are used, such as encrypting files and transmission data or using a file lock function.

Chapter 9. Opinion collection and complaint handling
The company values the opinions of members, and members always have the right to receive sincere replies for their inquiries. The company operates a customer center for smooth communication with members. 

Real-time and phone consultations are available only during business hours. Consultation by e-mail or mail will be answered within 24 hours. However, for inquiries submitted after working hours or on weekends and holidays, in principle, it is processed the following day.
The company takes the following measures for stolen personal information.
1. When the company learns that a user has signed up for membership by stealing the personal information of another user, the company takes necessary measures without delay, such as suspension of service or withdrawal of membership for the relevant ID.
2. If a user who is aware of the theft of his or her personal information requests to suspend service use or withdraw from membership for that ID, the company will take action immediately.
